Indore: Indore Sahakari Dugdh Sangh organised 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Indore University Sabhagrah recently. Sangh representatives of Indore, Dewas, Khargone, Khandwa, Badwani, Burhanpur, Dhar and Jhabua dugdh samitis participated in the meeting. Bonus and dividend amount of Rs 548L for the year 2014-15 was distributed. Nisarpur Dugdh Samiti under Barwani Dugdh Sheetkendra received the highest amount of Rs 7.15L, followed by Rs 5.79L received by Kudana Dugdh Samiti Indore. Rajpur Dugdh Samiti, Barwani and Sukhliya Dugdh Samiti, Dewas received Rs 4.57L and Rs 4.18L respectively. Nagda Dugdh Samiti, Dhar was presented with a cheque of Rs 3.75L by the officials. Best dugdh samitis were felicitated with awards and certificates. For the first time, two distributors who distributed the maximum amount of milk were felicitated. In decisions taken by board of directors, it was decided that pending farmers tour programme will begin in upcoming months. Sanchi Beemari Sahayata Yojana will be initiated for milk producers working in remote areas. AGM was chaired by Umrav Singh Maurya.

He announced that in the upcoming AGM, samiti secretaries will also be felicitated. Work plan related to installation of plant and machinery at the newly built Dairy Sanyantra Bhawan is being presented to the government and speedy work can be done after the receipt of allotment. Proceedings are being done with allotment received under different government schemes.

The chairman instructed to write a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister to free milk business from effects of GST. Maurya declared that 50 percent of expenses incurred on artificial pregnancy and training of animal health worker will be borne at the Sangh level. Chief executive officer AN Dwivedi presented descriptive information related to various aspects, including anthelmintic medicine, mineral mixture and hygienic milk production. Among others, Sangh directors SC Mandge, Rameshwar Gurjar, Moti Singh Patel, Ghanshyam Patel, Mahesh Patel, Rameshwar Raghuwanshi and Tawar Singh Chauhan, addressed the meeting. Deputy general manager Deepak Sharma attended the meeting as representative of managing director MPCDF, Bhopal. Area manager RPS Bhatia conducted the programme. Area general manager Dr Ashok Kumar Khare presented a vote of thanks.
