Indore: It was a celestial bonanza for sky gazers of the city who witnessed the blue blood moon on Wednesday. Unlike early days when people used to keep themselves locked in houses during lunar eclipse, large number of people witnessed the life time event in which full moon and blood moon all took place at the same time.
However, temples across the city were closed since early morning and were opened after the conclusion of the celestial activities. Children, parents and people witnessed the activity through telescope at Manavata Nagar.
“We are lucky enough to witness the lifetime event to see the moon like a copper plate. The celestial event took place for more than two hours and we witnessed the eclipse as well as blue blood moon,” Er Avi Jain said.
Meanwhile, large number of people clicked the pictures to capture the moments.
