The 14-year-old victim was allegedly raped by building contractor Dharmendra Yadav at his home in Hira Nagar area on Thursday evening.

The police arrested the accused soon after receiving complaint. He was produced before the court where the victim also reached to record her statements. Victim’s cousin brother told Free Press that family members first took him to nearby hospital from where she was referred to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Science.

As per reports, Dharmendra and his relatives have threatened victim’s family members after they lodged a complaint against Yadav. On Friday morning, her mother, sister and other family members met DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra and demanded strict action against the accused.
