Indore: One more victim of Ranipura fire mishap has succumbed to burn injuries during treatment at Choithram Hospital on Sunday. According to Central Kotwali police, the death toll in fire at Dilip Fire Works in Ranipura area on April 18 has gone up to eight with a 22-year-old man succumbing to his burn injuries.

Dilpreet Narang, the son of the cracker shop owner, had sustained over 50 per cent burn injuries in the mishap. He died Sunday morning while undergoing treatment, said a doctor at the hospital where the victim was admitted. Dilpreet was the son of Gurvinder Singh Narang, the cracker shop owner who was also charred to death in the fire, a police officer said. Six others died during treatment at MY Hospital earlier. Police have registered case and sent the body for postmortem.
