Indore: While Radisson Blu emerged as cleanest hotel in the city, Choithram Hospital secured top slot among medical facilities in a ‘Swachh Survey’ conducted by Quality Council of India (QCI) on behalf of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). Besides, Atal Behari Vajapayee Government Arts and Commerce College, also known as GACC, was declared cleanest government education institution and MP Public School cleanest private education institution.
RRCAT Resident Association clinched No 1 position among all residents association in the city whereas Udaseen Ashram 56 Dukan Vyapari Sangh stood first among market association. After Indore was declared cleanest city in the country in Swachh Survey-2017, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) had announced ‘Best among the Best’ Swachh Survey for different categories including hospital, hostels, educational institutions, market association, residents association and wards. The QCI had conducted Swachh Survey on behalf of the IMC.
“Except for wards, the results of all other categories have been released by QCI,” mayor Malini Gaud said. She said that the results of ward category are expected in a fortnight. Municipal commissioner Manish Singh said that the parameters for all categories were almost similar. “The city is now ready for swachh survey-2018,” the commissioner added.
