Indore: In line with Bengali and Marathi food festivals, Sri Punjabi Sewa Sansthan will organise ‘Punjabi Fun and Food Festival’ at Omni Residency on Sunday to bring people close to the Punjabi culture and cuisines.

President of Sansthan DK Taneja, “The main motto behind organising such fests and events is to bring together Punjabi families of lndore and nearby places. We have arranged many attractions like lucky draw, talk show, games, etc. The main attraction of the fest will be the Tambola with prizes worth Rs 2 lacs.”

Ashok Baweja, secretary said, “We have invited Punjabi anchor and cooks especially for the event. Along with Punjabi food, people will enjoy Punjabi songs, bhangda, gidda, etc. Members of sansthan will also participate in cultural activities. We have also arranged many activities for women and children.” More than 30 families will also organise stalls of various Punjabi cuisines.
