Dewas: The decision of note ban was taken by RBI and the Centre two months ago and now that decision is impacting the industries. President of Association of Industries Ashok Khandelia said the note ban move was having an adverse effect on the industries in the region. The industries were not getting more than Rs 50,000 per month from the banks and hence it was posing problems. In the medium-scale industries even the work of a week could not be done by Rs 50,000, he complained. “On the other hand the industries are in trouble because of the problems of people in the market. The demand of goods manufactured by the readymade garments industry, oil industry etc is very less, which is impacting production. Also there’s a lot of unemployment because till the time the stock of the industry doesn’t go in the marketthey can’t start another production and hence the capital circulation is affected. The problems of commoners withdrawing amount from the banks have reduced but the industries and markets are undergoing a lot of difficulty,” Khandelia added.
