Indore: City crime branch sleuths on Thursday arrested three mobile phone and chain thieves. According to sources, crime branch police arrested Ajju Rathore Paradi, a resident of Ahirkheri, who was involved in stealing mobile phones and   chains. Police have recovered three stolen mobile phones and one gold chain from the accused.

Police also arrested two more thieves on Thursday, when they were trying to sell stolen mobile phones and tablets. One Kapil of Vijay Nagar area had on January 11 lodged a complaint with the police that his tablet was stolen.

Similarly, student Abhimanyu had also lodged a complaint with Vijay Nagar police that his mobile phone was stolen. When police were searching for the accused, they  got a tip-off that two youths were standing behind C-21 Mall and trying to sell mobile phones and a tablet.

The police team reached at the spot and arrested the duo who were later identified as Vicky alias Vikrant Jha, a resident of Sarvhara Nagar and Jayesh Pandey, a resident of Vijay Nagar. During interrogations, they confessed to the thefts. Police are interrogating them further to know more about their activities.
