Indore: A youth was stabbed to death by his friend over a money dispute in Sadar Bazaar area her on Thursday. Police have arrested the accused after few hours of the incident and started an investigation into the case.
MS Bhadoria, incharge Sadar Bazaar police station said that the deceased has been identified as Aslam Husain, 57, a resident of Juna Risala area of the city. He ran a shop of toast in Barwali Chauki area and was going to his shop when his friend Ahmed stopped him on the way and had an argument over some money dealing. Ahmed later stabbed him thrice and reached police station with knife where police arrested him. Local residents took Husain to a hospital but he could not be saved.
Preliminary investigation revealed that accused runs a cycle repairing shop near Husain’s shop and accused was a tenant of the deceases and they were good friends.
Ahmed told police that he had borrowed Rs 20,000 from Husain one-and-half-year ago. He even repaid the loan but deceased was forcing him to pay more money. On Wednesday too, they had an argument over this issue and Ahmed attacked on him.
