Central Board of Secondary Education conducted class XII board mathematics examination on Monday. While students tried hard to overcome math phobia before entering examination hall, they came out happy after attempting the exam. The paper was not tough, which delighted students. Since most science students were preparing for competitive exams, they found the paper easy. For commerce students, who had chosen mathematics, did not find it too difficult.
Analysing the paper, mathematics expert Ritesh Chouhan said, “Paper was fairly easy as it had direct questions.” Last year, class XII maths exam was tough. “About 16 marks paper was challenging for students last year. But this year, paper was manageable,” Chouhan said.
Students had similar views. “It was good paper and we can expect good score because it was possible to complete paper in time with only few difficult questions,” student Amarjeet Singh said. “I can hope to get up to 90 per cent because paper went well and it was not difficult,” Akhilesh Khatri said.
