Indore: In order to create awareness among common people, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport administration launched fire fighting training drive from Wednesday. The drive is aimed to educate about precautions and measures to be taken in case fire breaks out,” said airport director Aryama Sanyal.
On first day, fire fighting training was given to staff of Air Traffic Control (ATC), communications, and network, and motor wing staff by fire brigade team of the airport. A movie on the subject was also screened. Practical knowledge of fire extinguisher was also given. In second session, fire awareness training was given to students of Kendriya Vidyalay No 2 by fire fighting team.
