Indore: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended enrollment scheme till June 30, which was ending on Friday. The EPFO issued a notification in this regard. The scheme is brought to extend PF benefit to those employees also who got employment between April 1 and 2009 to December 31, 2016.  For this, employers are given facility that they can enroll their employees under the scheme without any penalty.

PF Commissioner Ajay Mehra said that offering of social security cover to all employees is the duty of employers. Besides taking care of commercial concern, they should also take care of social obligations. Hence, the government has extended the scheme for them till June 30.
