Indore: Three incidents of loot were reported in the city during last 24 hours. Motorcycle borne men looted handbag of a school teacher while she was returning home on her two-wheeler. According to police, a case was registered on the complaint of Rajani Yadav, a resident of Scheme No 78. Rajani works as a teacher in a private school and was returning home on Monday night when the motorcycle borne men snatched the handbag from her near Ashadeep Hospital, police said. In another incident, an unidentified man robbed ring and mangalsutra from a woman who had gone to attend a discourse with her family. The robbery occurred when the family got into the queue to have ‘prasad’ after the discourse. Police have registered a case on the complaint of Rupesh Kumar Sharma. In the third incident, three motorcycle borne men collided with a teenager going on his bicycle and when he fell down, they snatched his mobile phone and fled the spot. The boy, however, recognised one of the robbers as Dilip, a resident of Scheme No 114. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Sanitation worker abused

Following an argument over throwing garbage into a collecting van, a resident verbally abused the van driver. According to the police, complainant Rakesh Kalyane stated that the incident occurred in Gouhar Nagar and the accused was son of one Alamgir.

Magic van driver dies in mishap

A magic driver died when his vehicle was hit by a bus. The accident occurred on Simrol Road and police have registered a case against. According to police, the accident occurred at around 2:30 pm. The man was identified as Antarsingh. He was on his way to Simrol when his vehicle collided with a bus coming towards Indore. The impact caused the magic to turn turtle crushing Singh under its weight and ultimately leading to his death.

Man thrashed at petrol pump

A man was trashed by three men at a petrol pump following an argument after a minor collision between their cars. According to police, a case has been registered against Girijashankar Dube, Brijesh Dube and Ramesh Tiwari on the complaint on Ramsnehi Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj had stopped at a petrol pump to get petrol pump when a car in front of him reversed and hit his vehicle. After incident, the trio got out of the car and trash Bhardwaj and left the scene.

Two absconding accused nabbed

Crime Branch officials nabbed two absconders in separate cases. Police received a tip off that absconder Susheel Gupta was seen wandering near the MP High Court who was absconding since the last three years. Gupta had formed Dhanlabh Credit Cooperative Society with office at Meghdoot Tower. The society collected lakhs of rupees from public on promise of hefty returns and then embezzled the money. A case was registered at Vijay Nagar police station and Gupta had been absconding since then. He was carrying a reward of Rs 5000 on his head. Another absconder was an accused in a attempt to murder case. The accused was identified as Suresh Bundela alias Kallu Dholi, a resident of Malviya Nagar. Dholi was part of the conspiracy to murder Anchal Awasthi when he was returning to the city after meeting his jailed brother in Dewas. Bundela had left the city before the attack to establish an alibi and was joined by other accused Goldie and Rahul Gadkar in Shridi on the conspiracy. Bundela was carrying reward of Rs 5000 on his head.
