Indore: City would witness a spell of thunderstorm and drizzles on Friday, predicted regional meteorological department. However, the cloudy weather couldn’t bring down mercury which hovered around 41 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

Winds blowing with a speed of 45 kilometres per hour had given some relief to people but increase in humidity played the devil’s part. According to Met officials, maximum temperature on Thursday was 41 degree Celsius, one degree Celsius above the normal while the minimum temperature too had the same variation with the record of 24 degrees Celsius.

“Cloudy weather will remain for next couple of days more and chances of thunderstorm and drizzles are likely. It may bring some relief to the citizens but the temperature will increase more in coming days,” Met officials said.
