Indore: Three more police stations will be established in the city soon as city police have got permission to start new stations on Sunday.

New stations will be established at Gandhi Nagar in western part of the city, at Tilak Nagar in Eastern area and at Chandrawatiganj in Sanwer.

According to Superintendent  of Police (Headquarters) Akhilesh Jha said, “We had sent a proposal to establish  three police stations and to police  in District Hospital about six months ago. The proposal has been accepted and we have got the permission to start the new police station.”

He said that they have started searching place to start new police stations and also requested the department to provide force for these police stations as well.

With the establishment of new police stations, number of police stations in the city will rise to 49, including Women’s police station and cyber police station. Construction of building for cyber police station at Pipliyahana has been completed.
