Indore: City will witness a huge gathering of CA students on July 21 and 22 as CA students national conference will be held here at Labhmandapam. Over 1500 CA students from across the country are expected to participate in the conference. The conference is being jointly organised by Indore branch of ICAI and board of studies. CA Pankaj Shah, chairman of the city branch of Central India CA Students Association (CICASA) informed that chief guest of the conference would be ICAI national president CA Nilesh Shivji Vikamsey and Archana Chitnis would be special guest.
On this occasion CA Atul Gupta, chairman of board of studies, would also be present there, who will brief about the new CA course. CA Shah said that there are five regions of ICAI and in each regional council only one CA student national conference organised. The city falls under central region of ICAI, which includes seven states. CA Shah said that this is really a matter of great proud that out of those seven states, only our city got the opportunity to host the conference. Students from Chennai, Jaipur, Jammu, Ahmadabad, Bhopal, Raipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi would participate in the event. During the two-day conference, CA students will present their research papers on GST, Real Estate Regulation Act (RERA), Benami Transaction Prohibition Law, Ind-AS, direct taxes, etc. While expert CAs will be giving tips on how to crack CA exams.
CA Student Raj Seth from Mumbai who secured AIR-1 rank in CA results declared on Tuesday, will be giving guidance on how preparation should be done for CA exams. During the conference ICAI’s past presidents CA Manoj Fadnis and CA Amarjeet Chhopda and other prominent CA would also be present.
