Rohit Sharma powered India to a massive 224-runs victory against West Indies in the 4th ODI at Mumbai. Rohit scored his 21st century and remained the high-scorer of the day with 162 runs. En-route, he again proved that why he is one of the best limited overs batsmen in the world at present. During the match, many present at the venue experienced his patriotic side. Rohit, who was playing at his home pitch, was cheered by many fans. While fielding, fans cheered with the chants of Rohit…Rohit… However, on hearing his name, the Indian opener signalled and showed his jersey where India is written, suggesting fans to chant India and not his name.

The video of the same is doing rounds on social media and we can’t get over it. Watch below:

Meanwhile, a video of skipper Virat Kohli engaged in a similar situation has hit the internet where the crowd can be heard chanting his wife Anushka Sharma’s name in middle of the match. When Kohli noticed this, he gave a thump up to them.

Talking about the series, India will take on Windies in the 5th and final ODI at Thiruvananthapuram. India has already taken a lead in the series 2-1. A loss would mean a tie in the series.
