India vs England: Hardik Pandya answers his critics; celebrates his name on the honours board at Trent Bridge

Hardik Pandya’s performances were not that great in the previous two Tests of the ongoing series against England. He was able to score only 90 runs in four innings and took only three wickets in the first two matches.

Because of his performance in the previous Tests he faced a lot of criticism, former cricketer Michael Holding’s said that Hardik is neither effective as a bowler nor a batsman. Even Pandya’s former teammate Harbhajan Singh had strong words to say. People on social media also expressed their anger by criticising Hardik Pandya

However, Pandya bounced back in the 3rd Test at Trent Bridge. His most outstanding performance came while bowling in England’s first innings. Hardik picked up five wickets in just six overs. And because of his great performance Hardik Pandya’s name went on the honours board at Trent Bridge and he was seen enjoying the moment. In a video shared by BCCI, Hardik says that it’s is a very proud moment for him and was also seen thanking supporters for their support.

In the next day he scored fifty runs at a time when India were search of runs in their second innings. Hardik is expected to play the same game when India faces England in the 4th and 5th series
