Indore: Indian Institute of Management Indore, which has recently announced plans to launch post-graduate programme in human resource management for MBA aspirants, has come up with a new course for budding businessmen as well. “The course named Advanced Strategic Management Programme (ASMP) is for fostering outstanding business leaders. It is a comprehensive programme, that would provides participants with insights into current management trends and best practices by a combination of experienced faculties of IIM Indore,” said IIM Indore public relation officer Ananya Mishra.
This programme would complement the functional understanding with a greater cross functional knowledge on a more strategic level, for leadership transformation. “This course is designed through a unique modular blend of personalised learning on campus with practical application, exclusively for working professionals who wants to upgrade and expand their leadership skill, network and capitalise on emerging opportunities,” IIM Indore said.
The programme would deliver a transformational experience, and would make participants more aware of the challenges that they face as a leader. Curriculum of the course is industry driven and is tailored for present leaders to understand the cross functional areas. “This programme would draw best management practices across the globe, aims at grooming business scions in areas like finance planning, objective setting, business excellence modelling, coaching and inspirational leadership with change management and astute management of their own business. For each business is unique, there are many best practices which can be analysed and applied,” Ananya said.
This is an integrated programme comprises of three on-campus modules, within the duration of three months. Each programme is held on the campus for six days. “The programme is customised with case study and interactive sessions, helps in discovering new ways to lead, achieve higher level of professional performance through enhanced business acumen,” she said.
