Mumbai : Charkop Football Club showed good form and managed to pull off a narrow 2-1 win N.B. Challengers in a Second Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday afternoon. The hero of Charkop’s win was striker Aakash Giri who scored both the goals.
Giri netted the first in the 22nd minute before Abdul Khan scored the equaliser for Challengers in the 37th minute. But Giri was once again on target scoring the second and winning goal in the 54th minute.
