Mumbai: Veteran journalist, former editor of Marathi daily Navshakti and weekly magazine Lokprabha, Vasundhara Pendse Naik passed away for prolonged illness in Mumbai on Friday. She was 70. Daughter of renowned journalist Appa Pendse and wife of former Indian cricket player Sudhir Naik, she was at the helm of various bodies from time to time including Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan and Marathi Sahitya Mahamandal. She was also Director of Rajya Marathi Vikas Sanstha and Marathi Bhasha Abhyas Kendra.
