Even as the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is headed to the business end, it is important for the cricketers to switch off when they are not playing. And Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner did just exactly that. Warner took to Instagram to post a picture of his daughter Ivy, scared of lightning and thunder, trying to hide under the pillow.
Warner’s post read, “Someone has been scared by the lightening and thunder outside. First real storm. Thinks the man upstairs is angry haha. #family #snuggleuptime.”
Warner is a completely family man and is often seen posting pictures of either his wife or daughters. During the Test series against India, Warner had posted a picture of wife and daughters and wrote how he is missing their presence. Warner’s wife and daughters were in India with the team before they left for home. But now they are back and Warner would definitely want to guide his team to the play-offs and make his wonderful family proud.
Warner-led Hyderabad will next play against Gujarat Lions in Kanpur on Saturday. Sunrisers are currently on the fourth position of the points table with 15 points from 13 games.
