Ujjain : Any information turns important in the diversified country like India when it highlights the special reference of the culture and society. The interrelation between education system and the society gets expressed at State, regional and local level.
Society’s own structure also affects the education. Hence education should be understood with reference to the triangle of society, institution and policy.
This was told by eminent educationist and former director of NCERT Prof Krishna Kumar at the inaugural session of 2-day National Seminar on ‘Implementation of Educational Policies and Programmes in India: Stocktaking and Ways Ahead’ at MP Institute of Social Science Research, on Thursday. Chairman Prof Nalini Rewadikar presided over the session. Director Prof Yatindra Singh Sisodia welcomed the guests. Dr Manu Goutam conducted the seminar while Dr Tapas Kumar Dalpati proposed the vote of thanks.
