Mumbai : Legendary actor Dilip Kumar who was hospitalised to Lilavati Hospital last Friday following chest pain and respiratory problems is likely to be discharged today.
Earlier on Wednesday, doctors had stated that the actor will get discharge by Wednesday evening. The actor’s treating Doctor Jalil Parkar, said, “He is much better and ‘on a road to recovery’ and will get discharge by Thursday morning.”
Meanwhile, Bollywood star Aamir Khan also paid a visit to the actor and gave his best wishes for his health.
The veteran actor, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, acted in many superhit films during his six-decade long career such as ‘Madhumati’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’, ‘Ram Aur Shyam’ and ‘Karma’. He was last seen on-screen in the film ‘Qila’ in 1998. He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
