Nagda: Local Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Raju Chaudhari and Anil Joshi filed a complaint against Congress corporators under the directions of senior leaders of party. In protest, Congress corporators of Nagda municipal council reached the residence of both the BJP leaders and garlanded them here on Saturday.

According to sources, Congress corporators have alleged that BJP leaders had filed false case against them at police station, when they had protested the negligence of contractor in road construction work.

Congress corporators including Subosh Swami, Pramod Singh Chauhan, Yogesh Meena and others reached the residences of BJP leaders Raju Chaudhari and Anil Joshi and garlanded them.

Congress leaders said that they had not visited BJP leaders’ residences to compromise or ask to withdraw the cases against them, but they wanted that during protest on public interest issues, all the residents of town including political party leaders of BJP and Congress should come forward and stage demonstrations against the negligence of officials   concerned and others, who are responsible for delaying public interest works.

The sources said that the contractor has not been completing the construction work of Mahidpur Road, which has been dug for the past one and a half month. Due to that local resident have been suffering a lot. In regard this, Congress leaders had submitted a memorandum to SDO and asked him to take action against the concerned road contractor. After that they alleged that BJP leaders had filed a false case at Nagda police station against the Congress leaders.
