Conductor kills self, kin stage demo

Indore: City crime branch on Sunday arrested a youth who was on the run after abducting a minor girl from Dewas. The accused abducted girl on pretext of taking her to Ahmadabad and Pithampur. Presently, there were staying in Chandan Nagar. The police had also announced a reward of Rs 5000 on arrest of accused.

According to ASP (crime) Amarendra Singh, police received information that person who had abducted a minor girl from Dewas was staying in a rented house in Chandan Nagar. After information, the crime branch team along with Chandan Nagar police station staff searched the youth and raided the house where he was staying with girl.

Police team rescued the girl. Accused has been identified as 22-year-old Shahid of Kannoj, Dewas. The girl told police that accused Shahid had lured her by promising her to show big cities and took her to Ahmedabad where they stayed for two months.

What happened

on saturday evening, his wife and children were not at home when deepak committed suicide. The incident was discovered when his wife returned home. She took deepak to hospital but he was declared brought dead. Police version investigating officer gopal singh said deepak was employed as conductor in a city bus but he was not attending work for a few days.

Deepak was terminated a couple of days ago but was assured by the officials that his duty would be shifted to another bus but nothing much hapened. He was depressed and that may have pushed him to take the extreme step. He is survived by wife and three children.

Family members and relatives reached AICTSL office and created ruckus alleging that Deepak was terminated with no reason. He was the sole bread earner in his family. The family members and relatives also tried to stage A chakka jam on BRTS
