Ujjain : Collector Sanket Bhondve and commissioner of Ujjain Municipal Corporation (CMC), Ashish Singh joined the doctors of Indian Medical Association (IMA) at a tea party meeting held in Vikram Vatika on Saturday morning and held discussions on various issues.
During the conversation, the collector suggested that doctors associated with IMA can contribute their service in health related schemes provided by the government. The doctors ensured that after their clinic hours or hospital hours, they can check patients at any camp organised by the government.
According to doctors, there are 70 per cent patients of anemia in the city. Discussing about smart city project doctors stated that stray pigs, cattle and pets are the main problems. Pubic toilettes are also necessary, they added. The collector assured to address the problems of stray cattle.
Around 60 doctors participated the tea meeting including Dr Vimal Garg, Dr Susheel Gupta, Dr RK Bansal, Dr Katyayan Mishra, Dr Jaya Mishra, Dr Vinod Gupta and Dr NK Trivedi.
