Ujjain : “By providing road, water, electricity and other facilities Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan indeed managed to earn praise from various quarters, but failed to follow ‘Rajdharma’ in Simhastha Mahakumbh,” alleged Ramanandacharya Peeth Jagatguru Ramnareshacharya in a valedictory session organised to mark the culmination of Simhastha Mahakumbh.
The programme was organised at Shridhaam located at Neelganga Sarovar, here on Tuesday. He alleged that since Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad president Narendra Giri was affiliated to Shaiva sect, the CM extended a barrage of facilities to Shaiva sect and forgot to provide even basic amenities to the Vaishnava sect. “This is a grave mistake on part of CM to indulge in such discriminatory practice and it may pose a severe threat to his existence…all should be equal in the eyes of CM; however, by ignoring Vaishanv sect his governing nature has come under suspicion and it could prove fatal for his administrative capabilities…however, giving devil its due,” he said.
Favouring Shaiva over Vaishnava sect may pose severe threat to CM’s existence, says the saint
The veteran seer said that for the first time under the able leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a plethora of facilities have been provided albeit those who have not been taken care of in the name of grand arrangements must be cursing the CM. He also indicated that this issue may come up in Vidhan Sabha. Training the guns on police department, he said general public was very much troubled the way police administration handled the crowd and literally stopped them from moving freely in the mela area. Highlighting the recent theft incidents he said as soon as the Simhastha is over, we are witnessing a spurt in theft incidents in the mela area. He accused the administration of abating and aiding theft activities and said “There is no one, but the aides of administration behind these incidents. It is as if administration has called on gang of thieves to carry out thefts. This is a blot on image of the state government.
According to the Jagatguru Ramnareshacharya, the state government has made the Kumbh Mela a tool of advertisement. Government must bear in mind that the principles and ideologies which forms the very foundation of Simhastha Kumbh should not be maligned with the people having opposite mindset, he added. Not stopping at CM, he also fired salvo at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“When Narendra Modi assumed office everyone felt as if Ram Mandir would be built in Ayodhaya soon; however, to saints community’s dismay the whole agenda has been put aside…not a single work has been done by BJP in Ayodhaya,” he reminded. On this occasion Ramnareshacharya Maharaj was felicitated by the Shri Dhaam Trustee’s Sanjay Mangal, Tulsi Manwani and Vijay Mittal among others.
