New Delhi : Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, a former defence minister, on Wednesday warned that China is fully prepared to declare a war on India any time and hence the Government must act first before it mounts the attack.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the zero hour, he also expressed concern over the Chinese goods making inroads in all fields in India to ruin the country’s economy. He said the previous government’s mistake to recognise Tibet as part of China has given access to the neighbour to mount attack on India.
He wanted the government to support the freedom struggle in Tibet to shield India from the Chinese access. He said protection of Bhutan and Sikkim were also twin responsibilities of the government to keep China at bay. Making an astounding claim that China has already buried its bombs on the Pakistani soil by taking Islamabad on its side, Mulayam said India has the biggest threat from China and not from Pakistan as the latter can’t do much harm and a wiser step for India will be to take Pakistan on its side.
