2019 has officially taken the fun out of life, first with Avengers: Endgame and now with Game of Thrones Finale. While you are mourning the show’s death and Drogon crying over his mother’s stabbed body, the network is already gearing up for The Game of Thrones prequel.
We so far know the makers Jane Goldman and R. R. Gorge Martin have come to terms with a cast, and have started filming the pilot episode in Belfast, Northern Ireland which saw the Winterfell set.
The cast will be headlined by Naomi Watts, The Twin Peaks and King Kong actress. HBO in a statement said, she will play “a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret.”
Another thing that has been confirmed is that they story will take place more than 8,000 years before Targaryens took over Westeros. And it is not the whitewalker origin story, or the mysteries of the east, or the first long night and the Stark Legend. We will see something new with an amazing cast.
