Call centre executive jumps to death from fifth floor of office building

Indore : An employee of a call centre allegedly jumped to death from the fifth floor of his office building under Tukoganj area on Saturday. The reason of his taking such an extreme step could not be established yet as no suicide note was found from him.

Tukoganj TI Rajkumar Yadav said that the incident took place in a building near Janjeerwala Square around 1.45 pm. The deceased has been identified as Abhishek Lovanshi, 22 year, a resident of Sivni, Hoshangabad. He was staying here with elder brother Bhupendra and was employed as a telecaller executive in a company with Bhupendra.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Abhishek was under depression over some issue due to which he did not come office for two days. On Saturday, brother Bhupendra also tried to know about his depression but he did not reveal anything. Later, Bhupendra took him to office where he was sitting in canteen at the terrace of his office while Bhupendra was working in his office on second floor of building. Ashishek climbed on the railing and jumped from there.

Employees of the building told that they did not see him jumping. Possibly, Abhishek fell from the building. However, police believed that he committed suicide by jumping from the terrace as the height of railing is too high and there is no space for falling. The police have sent the body for autopsy and started an investigation into the case. The statements of his brother and other employees are also being taken to know the reason of his suicide.

Abhishek was staying in a rented accommodation in Nehru Nagar area of the city with Bhupendra for a few months but Bhupendra was also unaware about any of his problem
