Indore : Two brothers of New Bijalpur committed suicide by consuming poison. Though wife of one of them saw them vomiting and rushed them to a hospital with the help of neighbour, the medical assistance came too late. Domestic squabble is said to be the cause of the suicide.

According to Rajendra Nagar police, the brothers were identified as Rakesh and his younger brother Golu. Golu was married while Rakesh was still a bachelor.

On Monday evening, Golu’s wife Saloni returned home after visiting her parents and found the two brothers vomiting.

Saloni summoned her neighbour Ashok and together they rushed them to the hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.

Golu is a driver while Rakesh is a labourer. The two brothers are addicted to liquor and the police believe that domestic squabble may have led them to take the extreme step.

While neighbours suggested that the two brothers had an argument, a note purported to be the suicide note, mentions a woman, presumably Golu’s wife Saloni.

The note also states that the house should be given to their sister after their death which has led the police to believe that wife Saloni may be the cause of suicide. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
