BJP stages dharna protesting JNU incident

Ujjain : BJP organized a dharna in the city in protest of JNU incident on Tuesday. BJP has observed Reproach Day across the State by staging demonstration, rally and march in protest of anti-national activities at JNU.

District president Iqbal Singh Gandhi chaired the dharna held at Tower Chowk while another dharna was held at Chhatri Chowk. Divisional Organising Secretary Rakesh Dagor in his address said that the whole world knew that India is a tolerant nation and is able to lead the world. How can a nation be intolerant where they cared for all the animals whether they are big or small. India is not only a piece of land, but their motherland. There is a need of high level enquiry in JNU. The whole nation has denied of that communism and it has spread over JNU.

Gandhi told that BJP with the help of such stage demonstration was trying to expose the faces of left parties. Congress told that there should not have any check over the freedom of expression in the nation and he asked where was that freedom on June 26, 1975 when the emergency was imposed in the nation and thousands of innocent people were sent to Jail. MLA Mohan Yadav, Mayor Meena Jonwal, Kishore Khandelwal and other several BJP leaders addressed the dharna. Dharna was conducted by Virendra Kale while Anand Khichi proposed the vote of thanks.
