Bigg Boss Tamil controversy: Kamal Haasan counters right-wing groups with this repartee

We all know that superstar and Bigg Boss Tamil’s host Kamal Hassan has been targeted by a right-wing group, who are demanding his arrest and a ban on the reality television show for ‘obscenity’. However, the outspoken actor has recently made it clear that he wouldn’t be scared the attacks, which he described as “rabble rousing.”

Mr. Haasan said that his critics were late in demanding his arrest because he has already done intimate scenes in many films. He told to NDTV reporter, “I have kissed in my films more than a decade ago. Are they seeking my arrest belatedly?”

On claims that the show denigrated Tamil culture, he wondered how the reality show would adversely impact Tamil culture that wasn’t affected by his intimate romantic scenes in films such as the 1978 movie “Sattam En Kaiyil” (Law is in my hands) in which he played the lead role.

However, Haasan also suggested that he wasn’t worried about the groups and said that law and justice machinery would protect him. He further added that “If they want to arrest me, let it happen.”

Well, Kamal Haasan is no stranger to these controversies and should tide over it.
