BJP president Amit Shah on Monday denied that the CBI was in the process of filing a preliminary inquiry into the Rafale deal when the Central government sent its senior most officers on forced leave. Terming the incident as unfortunate, he asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi to reveal the sources from where he was getting information about the Rafale deal.In conversation with a private channel, Shah said, “If Rahul Gandhi has any suspicion regarding Rafale deal, he should move the Supreme Court as others have done.”
Accusing Gandhi of making a mountain out of a molehill, he said that the truth will be out soon and people will reply to Gandhi’s false allegations. He said that as the matter regarding Rafale was already in the Supreme Court there was no question of CBI’s going for an inquiry into the deal. Accusing Gandhi of lying to the nation, he said that Ambanis will not make any aircraft. It will be built in France. He said that the people will reply to it in next Lok Sabha elections.
Terming the attempts to send women into Sabarimala temple as wrong, he said that there were 13 temples in the country where men do not go, he said.On Ram temple, he said that the court should take a decision on the issue, because temple should be built on the basis of constitutional norms.There would be no impact of Mahagathbandhan and the BJP would form government in MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, he declared.
