BHOPAL: Inauguration of new Tahsil Kolar has become a bone of contention between Revenue Minister Govind Rajput and BJP leader and Huzur MLA Rameshwar Sharma over the date. Even as revenue and transport minister Govind Rajput inaugurated new Kolar Tahsil on Monday the BJP leader and Huzur MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that he would inaugurate it on Tuesday with his supporters.
New Kolar Tahsil will include 14 wards including six ward of Kolar –80 to 85. Arera Colony from E-1 to E-5. In ward no-49, E-6 and E-7. Shahpura Ward no-51, and other wards -52 (Bawadiakalan), 53-(Jatkhedi) 54 and 55 (Bagsewania and Bagmugalia).
Law minister PC Sharma, MLA Arif Masood, divisional commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat, collector Sudam Khade, Congress leader Naresh Gyanchandani, and other were present. Minister Govind Rajput visited building of new tahsil.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma said, “ I played a crucial role in formation of Kolar Tahsil.
So I have moral right to inaugurate. I had requested the minister to extend the date but he did not lend ear to my request so I will inaugurate it on Tuesday.” Sources said that minister Govind Rajput told Rameshwar Sharma that he has to fly to Delhi on Tuesday so he could not extend the date of inauguration.
Rameshwar Sharma had requested to extend the date and hold it on Tuesday instead of Monday. But Rameshwar Sharma is local MLA so he wants to establish his bastion in Huzur Vidhan Constituency. It second time in a row that Sharma has won from Huzur seat.
