Indore: Students who have applied for entrance test of BEd course are facing hardships in getting their documents verified. In scorching sun, they are forced to stand in serpentine queues at government colleges to get documents verified even as employees pressed into the task of verification are compounding their woes.

“Firstly, the employees are not carrying out verification process speedily and secondly they are demanding even for unwarranted documents,” the students alleged. One Nidhi Tiwari was rushed from Old GDC to DAVV to obtain first semester marksheet on Thursday even when only final year marksheet of graduation was required for verification.

“I don’t why was first semester marksheet was needed as the final year marksheet carried marks of all the semester,” she alleged. Another candidate Shamili Tiwari said that she was sent back to home from college for bring along different certificates. The staffer at the window did not tell me in at once what all documents are lacking for verification, she alleged.

Only two days are left for verification. The verification would stop on Saturday. College directors, who citing poor registration are demanding to allow open registration window again, also demanded to extend verification date so that the students who have registered could at least take entrance test.

Applications for ME, MTech, MPharma invited

DAVV has invited applications for admission in ME, MTech and MPharma courses offered by its teaching departments. Students can submit applications online for the courses. The application window would open on Friday and would be shut on June 20.
