Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane launched a new party called ‘Maharashtra Swabhiman Paksh’, and its indicated that his organisation may align with the BJP.
He was served as a chief Minister in 1999 when he was in Shiv Sena. But in 2005, Rane left the Shiv Sena and joined the Congress. Its reported as Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray had expelled Rane from the party.
As we seen during the Sabha, Shiv Sena does not skip any chance to taking a dig on Narayan Rane. One of video was shared by Filmmaker and Social Activist Ashoke Pandit, were Balasaheb taking a dig of Narayan Rane on his English speaking. During the party launch Rane criticised Uddhav, saying to PTI that, “Everyone in Shiv Sena, except for Uddhav Thackeray, is my friend. He hardly understands any issue and keeps criticising BJP leaders and their decisions. It is due to his leadership that the party has been widely ridiculed.”
