Mumbai : Arya Vidyamandir ran through the St Lawrence girls handing them a humiliating 6-0 defeat in a Girls U-16 Div I match of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association Inter-School Football Tournament played at Azad Maidan on Thursday. .

Arya Vidyamandir started on a high when Arushi found the back of the net within 10 minutes of the start of play.

Pressure kept mounting on St Lawrence and their defence eventually cracked when Vania Nagpal of Arya Vidyamandir shot one past the defenders to score in 21st minute leading the game 2-0.

The half time pep talk did not seem to inspire confidence into the Lawrence girls as their poor defence let Skipper Sai Sankhe of Arya Vidyamandir score a goal in the 37th minute.

Later, Khushi and Sai scored one each in the 41st and 47th minute to make the defecit 6-0 eventually winning the game.

In another match, Bombay Internationa School defeated Jamnabai Narsee 2-0. Samia Jehta did not give Jamnabai Narsee any time execute their stratergies as she scored a goal in the fifth minute of the match.

In the second half Keya Bajaj scored a goal in the 37th winning the match 2-0.
