Indore : Kartik Taneja, director of Channel Sales at Google for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said future is full of opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. “Both are technologies of future,” he said. While artificial intelligence helps in studies of complex subjects, machine learning helps in getting precise diagnosis of diseases.
Taneja was addressing a talk show on, ‘What Google is doing in artificial intelligence & machine learning’ organised at hotel Radisson Blu on Saturday. The show was organised by Indore Management Association and attended by IT professionals.
In his address, Taneja said artificial intelligence can help in studies of biology like DNA sequencing. Another example is protection of Amazon rainforest from illegal felling. “Rainforest is very big and cannot be supervised manually, so they are using artificial intelligence to keep watch,” he said. Machine learning, he said, is used in creating pattern and designs that make work easy.
