The off-site show at the grand ballroom of The Leela Palace here on Friday, stood still for some time when models started walking on the runway in impressive ensembles like embellished lehengas having 3D flowers stitched to it, palazzos, sequined jackets, long trailed anarkali’s to pant sarees — all paired with statement jewellery pieces consisting of precious stones like emerald, diamonds and rubies with a gold base.

Using fabrics like organza and georgette, Khanna collection used a myriad of hues such as white, beige, gold, salmon pink, celadon green, fiery red, black and yellow. The collection also saw a wide use of heavy embellishments, sequined work, hand weaves and intricate work of gold embroidery on the silhouettes.

With popular numbers by legendary singers Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra playing and the runway decked up with trees and real live models — the show left the guests for wanting more.
