Amitabh Bachchan says daughter Shweta, granddaughter Navya are his pride in this poem; read here

On Friday Amitabh Bachchan shared a poem for his daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and his granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Amitabh has been sharing posts for his daughter, with whom he was recently seen in a TV advertisement. Shweta launched her brand in partnership with her friend Monisha Jaising.

“Yeh garv hai mera, beti betiyaan jab ubhar kar aati hain, apne dum par kuch kar ke humein dikhaati hain, motiyon se piroyi hui yeh mala, aise karna gehna yeh anmol hai, isse surakshit rakhna. (I am proud that my daughters have found success on their own, they are like beads of a necklace; such jewels are precious, keep them safe).”

Lately, both mother and daughter have been making several public appearances. Shweta was recently seen in an advertisement with her father. The ad was her acting debut and was criticised by members of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation. Kalyan Jewellers, the subject of the ad, later pulled it out of circulation.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Harper Collins will publish her debut novel, Paradise Towers. Sharing this news, Father Amitabh wrote: “The proudest – father… My daughter the best and greatest.”

Amitabh recently shared a photo where he was seen wearing a hoodie, which was a gift from Shweta. He wrote on Instagram, “Girl Power .. the hoodie from MxS World .. specially made for me by the girl power of the house, Shweta. (sic)”
