Akshay Kumar turns real-life PadMan, joins Aditya Thackeray to install sanitary pad machine in Mumbai

Mumbai: Bollywood’s PadMan Akshay Kumar and President of Yuva Sena, Aditya Thackeray installed a sanitary pad machine at Mumbai Central bus depot in Mumbai on Thursday.

Akshay Kumar along with Aditya marked his presence at the installation of the machine in Mumbai. Akshay shared a picture on Twitter saying that, “Placed a sanitary pad vending machine at Mumbai Central ST Bus Depot today, hoping to place more across the State and eventually hopefully the whole country. Thank you @AUThackeray for your support”

He also wrote in Marathi that, Diwakar Raote has given permission to fix 30 vending machines in Mumbai, and soon it will be going to be installed BMC schools. Even in women’s toilet, installation of vending machines are in progress.

Well, the super hero is doing his best to spread the message of menstrual hygiene through his stand on this issue.

Akshay Kumar’s PadMan, also starring Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte, has earned Rs 59.09 crore in six days at the box office.
