Indore: Clothes of 4-year-old girl, who was raped and killed by accused Honey Atwal a few days ago, were recovered by the police on Wednesday. After killing the girl, the accused buried her clothes near the crime spot to mislead the police. Police will file the charge-sheet within 10 days. DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra said that during questioning, Honey confessed his crime. Following the lead given by him, the investigating team managed to recover girl’s clothes which he had buried in another duct of Kanh river and places a heavy stone on it to destroy the evidence.

The detailed questioning and efforts to recover more evidences into the case are on. Honey was also one of the accused in the murder of a six-yearold girl in Malhargarh in Mandsaur district a few years ago. His parents were also booked for giving him shelter in connection with the same. The Investigating team is also collecting information from him about that case. Mishra further said that the police would file charge-sheet in the court within 10 days and the case would be heard in the Fast Track Court.
