According to the police, Ganesh Jadhav of Ramkrishnabag Colony was abducted on Saturday afternoon while he was playing near his house. His mother Pushpa had informed her husband Anil after finding Ganesh missing. After two hours of the incident, they informed the police about the missing. Later, the police started an investigation and examined a CCTV camera installed at a shop in which a lady was seen taking the boy from there.

On Sunday, the kidnapper left the boy near Velocity multiplex at around 11 am due to fear of the police. He was left safely by the kidnapper there. The police confirmed that no ransom was paid and that the kidnapper did not even get in touch with the family members for it.
