On Wednesday night, people of Gurugram witnessed a shocking incident, when they saw a moving car on a flyover covered in flames.  The incident was caught on camera and has gone viral on social media. The driver of the car miraculously survived the flames and jumped out.

The driver, who was identified as Rakesh Chandel, had gone to distribute Diwali gifts to his relatives and was reportedly on his way home when, at a flyover near Cybercity, his Honda City car suddenly caught fire. After the car caught fire, Rakesh immediately jumped out of the car. But the car kept moving like a fireball across the flyover and could be seen from miles away. The vehicle even hit an auto on the flyover and dragged it a few meters.

The burning car, still moving, rammed another vehicle and a road divider before stopping. There was a small blast and the flames leapt up. Police too reached the spot but were helpless in stopping the car. According to ANI, the unmanned car finally stopped after moving some distance and fire extinguishing operations soon controlled the flames. The reason for the fire is still unknown.
