Ujjain: After the stray dogs bit two school kids on Monday in Bhairavgarh, the Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) dog squad caught eight stray dogs, on Tuesday.

Following complaint from the parents and residents as well as discussions with the health officer, the ward corporator and mayor sent a team to catch the stray dogs.According to residents of Bhairavgarh, the UMC team did not have proper manpower to catch the stray dogs so far.

However, the health officer of UMC BS Mehtahas asked residents of the city to contact telephone numbers 99771-17089 and 96441-30033 of cops Bachchulal Dagar and Daroga Rafiq, respectively on spotting stray dogs in their wards.
