Ujjain : Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Panchayat & Rural Development, RS Julania chaired a review meeting on Saturday and directed that 5 projects will be launched at each village under MNREGS. He also asked to build a pond and a Kapil Dhara well at each village panchayat mandatorily.
Julania reviewed Chief Minister Housing Project and directed to finish the construction of 7922 CM houses sanctioned in the division by October 30. He also directed to suspend Zila Panchayat, Ratlam project officer Choubey for practicing irregularities. Choubey could not respond satisfactory reply on the issue that number of complete houses in the district under CM Housing Scheme was found more than the number of loans disbursed. Julania strictly asked Collectors and Zila Panchayat CEOs to terminate the employees who were recruited on contract basis and to send the proposals of mandatory retirement if the regular employees do not work well.
ACS reviewed beneficiary and job oriented schemes. Banking correspondent working for mobile banking was asked to sit at village panchayats 4 days a week. Bankers were directed to link the beneficiary accounts to UID and to separate the 2.68 lakh joint accounts of MNREGS beneficiaries of the division by November 30. Further directives were issued to follow the regulations in Fields Road Project under MNREGS. Reviewing the MNREGS, ACS directed that the well will be built under Kapil Dhara project by the beneficiary. Divisional commissioner Ravindra Pastor, MNREGS Commissioner Raghuraj Rajendra and others were present.
