CR settles 605 staff grievances in record time

Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway has instructed the Personnel Department to look into on priority for distress cases such as Rajesh Jaiswal, Deputy Station Manager who was suffering from Buccal Mucosa Cancer and succumbed on 8.8.2020. Dr. A.K. Sinha, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Central Railway who was instrumental in starting the special staff grievance cell, has instructed the personnel officials to go beyond the boundaries of departments and provide maximum benefit to the employees. This was a proactive, breaking the silos and empathetic case. With the proactive efforts of Senior Welfare Inspectors all settlement dues and family pension have been paid on 17.08.2020, within a period of 10 days (seven working days). This special grievance cell takes difficult cases which are not getting solved. Till date 20 such cases are solved. During the period from September 2019, all the Divisions of Central Railway have solved 605 staff grievance cases so far.
