Tata Steel terminates deal

Mumbai : Tata Steel Ltd has backed out of the deal to buy Brahmani River Pellets Ltd due to non-fulfilment of some pre-decided conditions by the sellers, the former said in an exchange filing Wednesday. The steel major had entered into an agreement with Aryan Mining and Trading Corp Pvt Ltd and other companies in December 2016 to buy the entire stake of Brahmani River Pellets for over 9 bln rupees.
